Er.. to update on my NDS situation, I got a job at my campus bookstore to save up for a NDS. But my friends got me a black NDS for my birthday, so I guess I'll keep the money for something else.

ANYWAY. So I got a job right. And when I do something, I want to give it my all (especially when it involves money :3) and they liked me so I got the job for the whole semester. My boss told me they're planning to keep me the whole year - which is a good thing, since I'm transferring next fall anyway.

But then I got so busy that I just don't have time for anything else. In fact, yesterday was the only time I designed anything that's not for my class. Speaking of which, I'll upload some shots from my class projects later.

I was designing the banners for my church and I really like how it turned out. Of course I understand that not everybody will share the same opinion as mine, but whatever. I love it.

I was reminded again at how much I love what I'm doing - which is design and art. I know that people considers a lot of things when they choose their profession. The market, the salary, the job demand, and this and that and this and that. I appreciate that. But for me all of those doesn't matter. Art and design are my passion, my calling. The rest, I surrender unto the Lord and I know He will take care of me.

How about you guys? To those who decided to make your passion into a career, why have you decided to do that? To those who decided to let art be a hobby, I have nothing against you. Just curious
